I'm a happy RN married to a hardworking resident. We have recently become Carolina fans and are adding the color "carolina" blue to our wardrobe and home. I love the east coast and couldn't be happier living in hot, sticky climate. I was raised on a farm/ranch with two wonderful parents and three fun loving older sisters. I went to a one room country school house down the dusty dirt road with grand total of three in my class. Life in the country was rich, meaningful, and simple, just the way I like it. So from country farmgirl to coastal bell, here I am, living life and loving it!

Pumpkin Patch

I can't believe it is already the middle of October!!  This fall is flying by.  We had a great few days with our parents out to visit and then Tim's mom was here for a week.  It was so nice to have someone around to help with Jonah, take walks with, go to the park with, shop, and love on my little guy.  The weather was great and we had some fun times.  We have one more big trip before the Holidays and then I think things will slow down a bit.  Here are some pictures from a few a few weeks ago. We went out together as a family on our annual pumpkin hunt.  We found a great little place called Holly and Reagan's Pumpkin Patch a few years ago and have been going ever since.  They have every size pumpkin, plus, white ones, green ones, gourds large and small, indian corn, mums, and more.  They also have an awesome little donut stand right there.  The weather was absolutely beautiful so we took our time browsing and checking out all the Halloween decorations.  It was a such a great family outing and here are few pictures to enjoy.

This was one of the best shots I got of Jonah.  But unfortunately it had that little boy in the background.  Oh well!!

He found the biggest pumpkin in the patch and climbed right on top!

 Someone loves cars!

 Hi mom!!

There was a blown up black cat on the top of one of the buildings.  He was in interested in it but also a little scared of it!  He kept looking up and pointing to it!

Driving a truck and eating a sucker.  This kids day was made!!

Tweetsie Railroad

Our little family took a trip to Blowing Rock the middle of September for a little family get away and for Tim to do a bike ride.  We have been wanting to take Jonah to Tweetsie Railroad and were excited we finally found the time to go.  Plus Tim has had some time for training and was super excited to be able to do his first bike race in North Carolina!  We had all day on Saturday together and then Tim did his ride Sunday morning.  Tweetise was so much fun and Jonah was in love with the steam engine!  It was a little chilly that whole weekend and we didn't come prepared.  Thankfully I had thrown in a jacket at the last minute for Jonah, but Tim and I did not pack well.  We were both chilled until the sun came out and warmed things up a bit.  Always remember when going to the mountains to pack for all weather types!

Jonah was not to sure of the cowboys!!

After we road the train we went up the mountain to the petting zoo.  Jonah was loving the goats and was pretty excited he got to feed them and pet them.

We walked to the top with the stroller so I brought the stroller back down while Tim road the gondola down with Jonah.

This is Jonah getting his cowboy on!  He is preparing for our move back to Montana!

Just a few More

This week is dragging by.  My parents are at Disney World with the Mosley clan and I wish I was there. Tim and I went to Disney World for our babymoon and had such an amazing time.  I am a kid at heart and love Disney movies, candy, carnival food, shows, rides, everything.  So when I found out the Mosleys were headed to Disney World I started packing my bag too.  But the more I thought about it and pictured how a week would go with a sweet, energetic, jumping, skipping, crazy little guy named Jonah I took a step back and took out my toothbrush and tennis shoes to save for another time.  I so wanted to spend a week at Disney with my parents and the clan, but then started feeling a little guilty about leaving another energetic, sweet, hardworking guy at home, my hubs.  So now I sit at home dreaming of Belle and her time at the castle, and smiling as I can picture the boys flying around on the Everest ride screaming with pure joy, and Hannah finally getting to meet her all time favorite princess, and Dad taking a huge bite out of his ever so large turkey leg.  Oh the dreams, that is what keeps me going until they all get home.  I'm looking forward to a week with Dad and Mom, I guess we will have our own adventure when they get back. Here are a few more pictures from our awesome photo shoot that I couldn't be happier with.
