I'm a happy RN married to a hardworking resident. We have recently become Carolina fans and are adding the color "carolina" blue to our wardrobe and home. I love the east coast and couldn't be happier living in hot, sticky climate. I was raised on a farm/ranch with two wonderful parents and three fun loving older sisters. I went to a one room country school house down the dusty dirt road with grand total of three in my class. Life in the country was rich, meaningful, and simple, just the way I like it. So from country farmgirl to coastal bell, here I am, living life and loving it!

Montana Summer Skies

Well here is the last batch of Montana pictures.  We got the chance to spend time with my family and Tim's family and it was prefect.  We didn't feel rushed or feel like we were just driving back and forth.  I felt like out time with each family was sweet and special.  So here are rest of our pictures from our wonderful trip to the Wild Wild West!

A very tired kitty from a very busy party!

Dad and Kurt made two sets of corn hole and mom sewed the bean bags while Tim, Julie, and Dad helped fill them.  Laura and I sprayed painted the wood and we had a great set that got a lot of use the day of the party!!

Another sign that Dad and Kurt worked on for me!  Then I sprayed painted them with chalkboard spray paint and Kurt hung them up for me.  Thanks for all your hard work Kurt!!

Pool time in the backyard!

And pool time at the Erpeldings.  The kids loved it and we all had a great visit!

We got to celebrate Jonah's First birthday early.  Mimi planned such a fun party and it was great that Great Grandma, Great Grandpa, and Scott and Amy were all there to help celebrate!  How fun it was!

Montana Summer Fun

Here are a few more pictures from our trip to Montana.  I just finished cleaning the kitchen from the installation of our new fridge.  A fridge that we DID not want to purchase, but do to an unfortunate event while we were out of town it was a must, our old one no longer could do it.  I got everything put away, swept, mopped, cleaned the downstairs bathroom, and cleaned all the floor boards.  It feels so good to have a clean house, but man getting motivated to do it is another thing.  Anyway Jonah is down for her afternoon nap so I am catching up in blog world!

Mom, my sisters, and I did all the cooking for the party.  I planned on 150 and it worked out great, we served 141 and had leftovers to feed the 19 people in our own household for the next few days.  We made sloppy joes, ramen noodle salad, baked beans, had potato chips and made brownies.  Here are the little ones enjoying the spatulas of delicious leftover brownie mix!

Thats all of us.  I think we got a few good ones, it was great to have everyone together!

Muzzie, Papa, and all nine grandkids!

All the girls and our oldest, well only for some of us!

Tim testing out the drink station!

The sign we made for Dad and Mom's party.  I was so pleased with how it turned out.  I think it added a great touch to the party!

The week before the party we also worked hard on making the boards and bean bags for the bean bag game toss.   I am so glad we did these because they were a hit!!

Another sign we made so people knew where to go for all the fun and adventures!

The party was a succes and we are so happy we could all be together to celebrate Dad and Mom's 40th Wedding Anniversary.  What a Godly example they are and what an amazing witness of a true love for 40 years.  We love you Dad and Mom!!

Montana Summer

Hello to all.  Long time since I have been on to blog.  Well things have been busy around here.  We just got back Sunday night from a wonderful three weeks in Montana with family.  Oh how I love Montana in the summer.  This time around it was especially hard for me to come home.  I think non stop fun with family for three weeks is what did it to me.  I was tearful every time I said goodbye to family.  As my sister say jokingly, "you are cold inside."  Really I am, things don't bother me and I really don't cry that much.  Even when I was pregnant I think I cried once.  But now I have cried everyday since I got home, oh well.  I think once I get back into a routine things will even out.  Here are some pictures from our fabulous trip.  Here are a LOT of pictures, and more to come.  I took 600, but I promise I will narrow it down!

Jonah 10 months old!!

Jonah with Great-Grandpop.  How special to see them and spend time with them.

With Papa looking at the chickens.

Jonah loved Penne as long as someone was holding him!

Fun on the slide and Papa and Muzzies.  The kids had a blast sliding, reminds me of when I was little and all the fun I had with my sisters!
