I'm a happy RN married to a hardworking resident. We have recently become Carolina fans and are adding the color "carolina" blue to our wardrobe and home. I love the east coast and couldn't be happier living in hot, sticky climate. I was raised on a farm/ranch with two wonderful parents and three fun loving older sisters. I went to a one room country school house down the dusty dirt road with grand total of three in my class. Life in the country was rich, meaningful, and simple, just the way I like it. So from country farmgirl to coastal bell, here I am, living life and loving it!

Montana Summer

Hello to all.  Long time since I have been on to blog.  Well things have been busy around here.  We just got back Sunday night from a wonderful three weeks in Montana with family.  Oh how I love Montana in the summer.  This time around it was especially hard for me to come home.  I think non stop fun with family for three weeks is what did it to me.  I was tearful every time I said goodbye to family.  As my sister say jokingly, "you are cold inside."  Really I am, things don't bother me and I really don't cry that much.  Even when I was pregnant I think I cried once.  But now I have cried everyday since I got home, oh well.  I think once I get back into a routine things will even out.  Here are some pictures from our fabulous trip.  Here are a LOT of pictures, and more to come.  I took 600, but I promise I will narrow it down!

Jonah 10 months old!!

Jonah with Great-Grandpop.  How special to see them and spend time with them.

Mimi and the new puppy Penne

Jonah loved Penne as long as someone was holding him!

Fun on the slide and Papa and Muzzies.  The kids had a blast sliding, reminds me of when I was little and all the fun I had with my sisters!

Attempt number 92, trying to get everyone to smile at the same time.  There were a few tears by this point!

  1. Glad you had a good time with your family Amy! It's hard leaving family...my parents are here visiting and I'm already prepared to cry when they go home. :) I like the pictures you posted...it looked like a good time with your fam. :)

    1. Yes it was such a good time. I think God so much for my parents. They are a true example of what a Godly marriage looks like and we had such a great time all home together. Enjoy your time with you parents. It is so hard to say goodbye sometimes crying makes it better! Hope you are all well!
